The full-time MBA
The full-time 12 month MBA program is an intensive course based on a core general management curriculum. From September to April every academic year, you will cover core general management topics such as strategy and organization and the financial environment and complete a project on strategy. From April to September, you will cover a minimum of 6 elective subjects such as from areas ranging from Consulting to Strategy and the topics specifically included under Entrepreneurship and Innovation include Frontiers of Strategy and the New Venture Creation Process. You will also be required to complete a project relating to Business Mastery.
The Peter Cullum Centre for Entrepreneurship
The Centre is designed to be the focus for established and potential entrepreneurs and can provide resources for success if you have a good business idea. It brings together the skills and experience of successful entrepreneurs and finance professionals in a practical and realistic fashion. In partnership with Your Business Your Future (the leading specialist in the UK in helping ambitious entrepreneurs to grow and develop business), development programmes with this objective are offered. The two programs that are offered are The Better Business Program aimed at owner managers of successfully established businesses and Foundations for Growth for owner managers of early development stage businesses.
The Better Business Program provides you with the unique opportunity to look beyond the day-to-day operations of your business in order to focus on the future. The typical benefits from this program include faster growth with greater control, improvement in profitability and a clear sense of direction. To encourage participation, a limited number of bursaries are available which will contribute £ 4750 which is 50% off the program fees.
Foundations for Growth is designed for owners of early-stage businesses or with a small turnover to plan for sustained future growth. It is suitable if your business is not growing satisfactorily after the start up or you have ambitions on a much larger scale. The training process is focused around Materials, Management, Money and Yourself and uses a full-time business coach. It consists of 5 one-day modules running from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The Business Growth Programs offer privileged access to the Cass Entrepreneurship Fund which is an investment fund for promising start-up and early stage ventures. The fund is a £ 10 million venture capital provider providing growth equity as well as facilities for incubation and general support.
